SCULPTURE & CONCEPTUAL OBJECTS

The Sculpture & Conceptual Objects section documents the artist’s structural transition from the two-dimensional canvas into three-dimensional metaphysical space. Investigating the tension between raw material permanence and historical human symbols, these volumetric artifacts translate the core themes of individual vulnerability, existential thresholds, and defensive shells into tangible, tactile realities

  The Metaphysical Triad:

HOPE FAITH LOVE

Hope

Concept: The conceptual object «Hope» operates as an interdisciplinary investigation into the metaphor of light as an internal coordinate and an existential threshold. The composition relies on a harsh architectonic and tactile contrast: the lower stream of the work is woven from dense, light-absorbing black wool—symbolizing a landscape of memory or a primal void through which delicate, shimmering star-sparks break through.

The sacred visual epicenter features an incrusted, gilded «eye» assembled from shards of shattered mirror glass, hand-inscribed with English micro-calligraphy (letters and prefixes fragmenting into lexemes like world, celebrity, and care) interwoven with a binary digital code (0 and 1). Deconstructing the myth of Pandora’s box, the mirror mosaic fractures the spectator’s reflection, forcing a personal re-assembly amid digital and mental noise. The technical reverse side turns into a hidden artistic gesture, stabilized by black lace with gold luteous threads—functioning as a metaphorical «underside of the soul

FAITH

Concept: Conceived as a monumental, double-sided 3D altar, «Faith» grounds and anchors the triad’s mental environment through an uncompromising tectonic gesture. A vertical pillar of displaced granite blocks supports a pristine white marble slab, crowned by a raw fracture of stone incrusted with a genuine 0.10-carat diamond. The gem serves as a direct sacred metaphor for faith «the size of a mustard seed»—a minute point of absolute light capable of shifting mountains.

At the base, a sweeping floor installation of hundreds of scattered mirror fragments symbolizes a split human psyche and fragmented experience. The background features a wooden shield patinated by the smoke of ritual candles. The reverse side entirely subverts perception: the sacred soot is replaced by a matte black chalkboard, inviting the spectator to leave a fragile, erasable trace of thought with a piece of chalk, transforming the altar into an evolving spiritual node

Love

Concept: The kinetic sculpture «Love» concludes the triad, focusing on anthropological vulnerability and interactive linguistic codes. Three natural granite cubes rest on a marble slab, supporting a floating bowl made of white clay inspired by shell morphologies—directly extending the conceptual universe of The Shell series. The shell operates as an ambivalent structure: both a sacred sanctuary protecting the fragile self and a restrictive armor.

The fractures of the bowl are bound with gold leaf and fragmented mirrors following a calculated reinterpretation of the Kintsugi philosophy: love is imperfect, yet every fracture turns into a «golden lesson» of experience. The base functions as a kinetic generator of meaning: a letter matrix spellings out the word LOVE on the central granite module, flanked by the symbols I (I) and U(You). By rotating the modules, the spectator cyclically rearranges the vectors of personal pronouns (I love you, You love me) and global contexts embedded in the micro-calligraphy (from World and Natura to Cell), manifesting love as a fluid yet fundamental axis of human survival.
